Budget Title: Staff Assistant (SL-2)
This is a full-time professional position in the Anderson Center at Binghamton University requiring flexibility in work schedule. Duties of the position may include: assisting the Center's Executive Director with administrative duties, interfacing with artist agencies and coordinating logistics of guest artists (travel, hotel, etc.), assisting Operations Director with a variety of business functions, including monitoring the department budget, tracking expenditures, travel reimbursements, revenues and requisitions for purchase orders, assisting with the sale of ads in performance programs, along with other fundraising efforts, such as contacting potential sponsors for season performances. The successful candidate will also cross train to support in several areas of the Center during peak periods including the administrative office, sales and marketing, and house management. Sales and marketing support will include front line customer service, assisting in planning and managing departmental budget to assist with monthly reconciliations, assisting with scheduling student employees, and reporting on Anderson Center, Music, and Theatre Dept performance sales. Coordination of the personnel and business aspects of the department, including personnel documentation and HR Forms for trainees, renewal applications, relevant data tables and progress reports. Some evening and weekend hours will be required to support performances.
Bachelor's degree or higher
At least 2 years of customer service experience
Sales and administrative experience
