Responsible for supporting projects and the project staff in the Provider Relations/Network Management business unit. This is the entry level position in the Project Management career path.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Builds and maintains project plan and schedule, contributes to ensuring project deliverables are met, assist in documentation and project status tracking. Monitor activities to ensure project objectives are met within established time frames and budgets.

Creates Policy and Procedure documents to include process flows from various documentation and notes.

Conduct provider outreach and research.

Support Facility Site review and provider maintenance process.

Support the provider contract intake process.

Additional responsibilities will include scheduling, conducting and attending meetings, supporting management in overall objectives, assessing costs and savings and assist in the payments of vendor invoices. Will prepare and deliver presentations as required.

Required:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED

  • 2-4 years of experience in the health care environment, preferably managed care

  • or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background

  • Strong oral and written communication

  • High level Administrative skills

  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office software, especially MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong organizational skills.

Strongly Preferred:

  • Provider Relations and Medicaid Payer experience

  • Project management experience

  • BA/BS degree preferred

  • MS Visio and MS PowerPoint a plus
