The Reinforced Earth Company is recognized as the inventor and market leader of the MSE (Mechanically Stabilized Earth) retaining wall industry. The company provides the design and supply of materials of proprietary retaining wall systems and earth related technologies to contractors and owners for use in civil engineering. Our company works as a sub-contractor/material supplier on DOT and privately owned projects. We perform all duties associated with our jobs from sales, marketing, civil engineering/design, supply, and construction support.

Job Description

The Regional Administrative Assistant reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for all administrative support functions for the Regional sales office as well as the day to day office operations and all the tasks that are associated with those functions.

Responsibilities Include

General Office:

Answer telephones, type letters, maintain general files, sales files and project specific files, process mail, maintain office supplies, prepare payables for submission to corporate, archive project information and forward to corporate. Other administrative duties as needed.

Assist Regional Manager:

Assist in preparation of monthly sales report, bid packages (including screening plan holders), quotations, follow-up on project bid and signed contracts (including submitting the necessary paperwork to accounting) and product inquiries. Search various resources for upcoming projects. Assist with preparation of regional tradeshows. Maintain client database. Other administrative duties as needed.

Assist Project Managers with the following as requested:

Assist with project budgeting in Oracle, keep precast drawings up to date, check approved plans against take-offs for accuracy, prepare a Revised Precaster Modification, compare project specific balance sheet with invoice numbers and review with precaster the coordinate any corrections with accounting, create backups of and/or file project design drawings and precast contracts, etc, including revised drawings.


  • 1-3 years of administrative experience

  • Proficient in Word and Excel

  • Knowledge of Powerpoint, Act and Oracle a plus

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment, with the ability to multi task, prioritize and meet deadlines
